Block Island Beach House Intimate Wedding

Brittany and Ryan hosted a colorful, intimate wedding on Block Island in July of 2023 at the gorgeous Block Island Beach House. They invited just their closest family and friends to celebrate their love and enjoy a beautiful summer weekend all together. The Block Island Beach House overlooks the Atlantic Ocean and features comfortable and modern oceanfront accommodations, a delicious restaurant, an outdoor gathering space, and a unique indoor space called the Surf Shack. 

Brittany and Ryan got ready at one of the Block Island Beach House’s locations: The Gables. There was lots of natural light (a photographer’s dream!), it was nicely renovated, and it was a short walk over to the ceremony location – perfect. Their ceremony took place inside of the rustic Surf Shack, which overlooks Crescent Beach. Their small number of guests fit comfortably inside and it served as a nice respite from the hot sun that day. Following the ceremony, the couple mingled with their guests at the outdoor bar while the amazing crew at Block Island Beach House transformed the Surf Shack to a beautiful dinner reception. The tables were decorated with stunning florals from The Farmer Florist and each guest had a personalized piece of seaglass with their name written in calligraphy.​​ The venue also catered the evening with delicious food – seriously one of the best meals I’ve eaten this year! Brittany and Ryan ended the evening by strolling along the beach together and taking in all of the joy of their day.
